Since 2023, supporting orphanages and vulnerable communities across Central Vietnam has become an important part of who we are at Vietnam B2B Direct.
What began with helping meet the immediate needs of a small number of local orphanages has continued to grow. With the support of our employees, families, friends, customers and donors, we have been able to reach more children, senior widows, people with disabilities and families living in underserved rural communities.
Over the years, we have learned that meaningful support looks different for every person. Sometimes it means providing a warm meal or a comfortable place to sleep. Other times, it means purchasing equipment that can help an orphanage produce its own food, or giving a child a bicycle to help them get to school.
During the first half of 2026, this continued commitment resulted in more than 375 million Vietnamese dong, over $14,000 USD, being donated through 41
community initiatives across Central Vietnam.
Behind those numbers are children sitting down to one of the 60 trays of freshly prepared food. It’s kids sleeping in new beds with a blanket wrapped tight around them rather than laying on the ground with nothing. It’s food delivered to a senior widow and essential supplies for someone living with a disability.
It is these moments and the people behind them that continue to guide the work that we are doing.
What Can Happen in Six Months
Over the past six months, we’ve been able to help:
- Six Vinh Son children’s orphanages
- Two Catholic rural dormitories
- Catholic nursery schools
- Senior widows
- People living with disabilities
- Other vulnerable individuals and families throughout Central Vietnam
The donations provided food, beds, bedding and ongoing meal programs. They also funded bread-making and tofu equipment that can help produce food more sustainably, and help the orphanages make their own income, along with bicycles, LEGO, floor mats, sandals and other items that bring comfort, learning and joy into children’s daily lives.
Each initiative began by listening to what was genuinely needed.
Sometimes the answer was food and feminine hygiene programs. Sometimes it was a proper bed. Sometimes it was equipment that could help an orphanage become more self-sufficient. And sometimes it was something as simple as a toy or a safe place for a young child to sit and play.
These things may seem small on their own. But to the person receiving them, they can mean nourishment, dignity, independence or the reassurance that someone has not forgotten them.
More Than Just a Donation
One of the most meaningful parts of this work is seeing exactly where the support goes.
Vietnam B2B Direct personally oversees and documents these initiatives. Every person who donates receives updates and photos showing how their 100% contributions were used, helping create a direct connection between the person who gives and the people whose lives are affected.
There are no distant promises or vague outcomes. A donation becomes a meal, a blanket, a bicycle, a bed or a piece of equipment, and the impact can be seen in the communities receiving it.
Help Us Continue This Work
Forty-one initiatives in six months represent an incredible beginning of 2026, but the need remains.
There are still children who need regular, nutritious meals. There are orphanages trying to improve their living and learning spaces. There are senior widows and people with disabilities living with limited support. There are many practical needs that can be met when enough people choose to help.
You do not have to solve every problem to change one person’s life.
A small contribution can help provide the next tray of food, a warm bed, toys or a piece of equipment that allows a community to become more self-sufficient.
