Another year has come and gone, and giving back to orphanages and community members in Central Vietnam has continued to be at the forefront of the work we’ve been doing. For us it’s always been about the people, their stories, their daily struggles, and finding practical ways to make life a little easier for them.
Throughout 2025, we spent just over $35,000 supporting orphans, ethnic indigenous minority families, senior widows, and people with disabilities across Central Vietnam. Every dollar donated went directly toward helping those who need it most.
Feeding Children and Creating Small Moments of Joy
One of the main focuses this year was food support for children.
Through Soup and Spaghetti Programs, we were able to provide meals to around 800 orphans several times throughout the year. For many of these children, these meals were not just supplements, but essential daily nutrition.
Food distributions also included:
- Rice and sticky rice
- Packaged noodles
- Cooking oils, spices, and sauces
- Small treats like candy and cakes for the children
These small comforts brought smiles and a sense of normalcy to children who face daily uncertainty.
In addition to our ongoing Food Distribution Programs we also designated funds to Clothing, Footwear, Bedding, Building Repairs, Cookware, Sports Equipment, Skill Training, Tables and Chairs.
Building a Sustainable Future
Beyond food support, donations were directed toward longer-term solutions that empowered these orphanages to financially support themselves and educate the children through the purchase of:
- Sewing machines to help the children learn life skills and in hopes of creating products that they could sell.
- Commercial tofu and soya milk equipment to support small-scale food production within the orphanage and to sell locally.
- Clothing and bedding to ensure every child had a comfortable bed to sleep in and clothes to wear.
- Playground and sports equipment to give children safe spaces to play, learn, and grow
These items may seem simple, but in rural and underserved areas, they create real opportunities for independence and stability.
Supporting Ethnic Indigenous Minorities, Senior Widows and Handicapped Persons
Special attention was given to ethnic indigenous minority villages, where access to aid is often limited. Support also reached senior widows and handicapped individuals, many of whom live alone with little or no family assistance.
For these recipients, food supplies and basic necessities made an immediate and meaningful difference, often filling gaps left by limited social services.
Transparency and Trust
Bill Gadd, President and CEO of Vietnam B2B Direct, personally oversees the distribution of donated funds and documents each effort. Providing those who donate with a receipt of what was purchased, photos, and updates as donations are dispersed, ensuring transparency and accountability. Ensuring that 100% of all donations go directly to supporting worthwhile causes in Central Vietnam. This means that there are no administration fees or any other fees taken from your donation.
